The new venue will be located in Al Fattan Currency House, DIFC.

Dubai is home to cultures from around the world. Now, a new restaurant is set to blend them together with Uncut. Located in Al Fattan Currency House in DIFC, the restaurant describes itself as showcasing third-culture cuisine. The new venue opens this year, and here’s what to expect.

Citadel Hospitality is behind the venture. The phrase third culture refers to children growing up in a different country than their parents, and belonging to multiple cultures. The full menu has not yet been unveiled, but it will be rooted in nostalgia and driven by unexpected flavour combinations. The experience aims to bring together generational recipes and tell stories through the power of food.

Uncut

Spanning 5,900 square feet, Uncut in Dubai’s space includes indoor and outdoor seats. The indoor space will be able to accommodate up to 80 guests, and the outdoor terrace will be able to accommodate up to 160 guests.

Uncut in Dubai’s design will include dim lighting, soft sofas, and countertop seats by the bar. The space features full-wall projections, murals of trees, and potted plants. The colours span dark browns, bronzes, greens and golds. The outdoor terrace draws inspiration from the Silk Road and maritime travels with spices. The interiors are similar to the iconic Orient Express, and it will welcome live musicians, with jazz to percussion setting the soundtrack.

Mahkia Kayat, Chief Operations Officer of Citadel Hospitality, explained: “Uncut is a place of discovery. Every element has been thoughtfully curated to offer guests an experience that feels authentic and meaningful. From the food to the design, every detail tells a story. We believe in the power of connection through food and culture, and Uncut is a space where those connections can thrive”.
