Chef Anne-Sophie Pic brings the MICHELIN Starred brand to the Middle East.
Anne-Sophie Pic not only makes memorable meals, but is a memorable figure. With her white aprons, slicked-back hair and David Hockney-like glasses, she has arrived in Dubai for the opening of her new restaurant. La Dame de Pic opened at The Link, the new dining destination in One&Only One Za’abeel.
Anne-Sophie hails from Valence, France. Food is part of her family – she is the daughter of the chef, Jacques Pic, and granddaughter of Andre Pic. She originally trained in management, but later returned to restaurants. She initially trained under her father, and had no formal training in cooking.
Anne-Sophie Pic is the world’s most decorated MICHELIN-lauded female chef (currently holding ten MICHELIN stars across her restaurants), putting her on the culinary map. La Dame de Pic can be found around the world in London, Paris and Singapore. The restaurant showcases modern fine-dining French food.
At La Dame de Pic in Dubai, guests can choose from a range of menus and vegetarian options. The five-course Harmony menu includes BBQ John Dory, Guinea Fowl and Welsh Lamb. The seven-course Symphony menu includes a selection of cheese, scallops and Wild Sea Bass.
La Dame de Pic in Dubai is a sophisticated spot with light, neutral colours. The design covers soft whites, pale pinks and gold accents, and guests can choose from plush chairs to long banquettes. Plus, there is an open kitchen so you can watch the chefs at work.
One&Only One Za’abeel is home to 11 restaurants. The offerings include Mediterranean meals at Aleia, Spanish chef Dabiz Munoz’s Streetxo and Turkish chef Mehmet Gurs’ Arrazuna.
