The hotel is the brand’s first property in the Middle East.
The Dubai hospitality scene is constantly evolving, and now another prestigious name is poised to make its grand entrance. Ennismore, a renowned global hospitality company, has opened the first Delano Hotel in the Middle East.
Delano Dubai opened on Monday, 7 October, on Bluewaters Island. Taking over the site formerly occupied by Caesars Resort Dubai, the hotel has undergone a transformation to create a space that seamlessly merges the outdoors with the indoors. Delano Dubai offers luxurious living accentuated with rich woods, natural materials, and fabrics. The urban resort features 251 meticulously designed guestrooms, including 84 suites—some boasting private pools.
Collaborating with leading interior design firms, Elastic Architects, LaBottega, SA Consultants, and Y Design, Delano Dubai’s interiors draw inspiration from the sleek, subtle aesthetic of its Miami counterpart. The building’s exterior is understated, featuring a lush topiary, ushering guests into Delano Dubai’s textured, sensory ambience. The brand’s signature use of white enhances the bright, spacious interiors, complemented by a tactile, contrasting mix of architectural lighting, bold colours, and natural materials like leather, marble, onyx, white oak, and mohair.
The design’s natural elements continue into the hotel’s rooms and suites, which feature modern, fluid designs with soft, curved shapes and rich textures. Each guestroom offers a serene, light-filled sanctuary with a tonal colour scheme, custom furnishings, a private balcony or terrace, and a luxurious marble bathroom. The pinnacle is the Delano Penthouse, a lavish five-bedroom suite spanning the entire seventh floor, complete with a personal elevator, private infinity pool, and dual terraces offering magnificent views of the cityscape and Arabian Gulf.
But luxury extends beyond accommodation, with distinct food and beverage concepts. Tutto Passa, an amber-toned Italian eatery with a terrace, brings a slice of the Amalfi Coast to Bluewaters Dubai. The Blue Door, a collaboration with Paris Society, is a beachfront restaurant, and the reimagined Rose Bar, a luxurious spot known for its vibrant social atmosphere, completes the offerings, each echoing the legacy of Miami’s celebrated venues.
The property also features a pristine private beach and enchanting gardens. The pool area, reminiscent of Roman baths, serves as a social nexus, with strategically placed loungers and umbrellas encouraging enjoyment of the idyllic setting.
The launch of Delano Dubai is a testament to the agreement signed between Dubai Holding and Ennismore to introduce a unique luxury lifestyle experience in Dubai. This follows the successful opening of Banyan Tree Dubai at Bluewaters Dubai late last year.
Delano has been shaking up the hospitality scene in Las Vegas and Paris, and will soon reopen its property in Miami Beach.
