Hip-hop fans, we have music for your ears. The American rapper Gunna is coming to Dubai. He will perform at BLU Oasis on 28 November, and here’s what to expect.
Gunna, real name Sergio Giavanni Kitchens, was born in Georgia, United States. In 2018, he rose to fame with his mixtape, Drip Season 3 and Drip Harder. In 2019, he released his debut album Drip or Drown 2. His hits include Drip Too Hard with Lil Baby, Lemonade with Nav and Power with Drake. Plus, he has been nominated for four Grammy Awards.
This isn’t Gunna’s first time in the UAE. He’s clearly a fan of the country – in 2023, he performed at BLU Oasis and at Coca-Cola Arena Dubai.
BLU Dubai is famous for its celebrity shows. Recent acts include Busta Rhymes, Jadakiss, Kanye West, M Huncho and YG. It recently expanded from clubs to hotels, with the opening of the BLU Oasis resort near Dubai Parks and Resorts and in the space once occupied by Qasr Al Sultan.
BLU Oasis boasts a large outdoor club, restaurants, and a pool overlooking the desert. The pool has a modern white and blue aesthetic. Visitors can choose from beds in and by the pool, as well as seats and tables perfectly positioned in the pool. Plus, there are cabanas located outside with plunge pools.
