Located in the DIFC, it offers a rare selection of Japanese whiskey.

Get ready for some serious FOMO. Sexy Fish Dubai is welcoming a new bar, Sekushi. The only catch is that it’s extremely exclusive, and access is by invitation only. Located in DIFC, here’s what to expect behind those closed doors.

Sekushi means sexy in Japanese, and aims to be an intimate space where you can create connections. The concept draws inspiration from the Japanese philosophy of wa, which is the pursuit of harmony and balance.

Sekushi

Sekushi at Sexy Fish Dubai offers a different vibe throughout the venue, transforming from day to night. Choose from seated or standing spaces, as well as long or short tables. If you want to get your groove on, there is a DJ booth and dance floor. Plus, the drinks include rare Japanese whisky labels, which are exclusive to the region.

If you’re looking for a theatrical experience, consider joining the artsy workshops, the maguro tuna cutting ceremony, or wellness talks. During the day, there are a range of activations, and on Thursdays from 11pm there is Sekushi Late Whispers.

Entrance into Sekushi is by invitation only. Members receive a rose gold coin and a code to access the special programme. Membership also grants guests guaranteed reservations at Sexy Fish Dubai every day of the week, direct access to a dedicated WhatsApp concierge, and priority access to upcoming events, from New Year’s Eve parties to one-night-only art and fashion installations.

Sexy Fish Dubai opened in November 2024. The restaurants can already be found around the world, including in London, Manchester, and Miami. The menu is inspired by Asia, and the interiors come to life with works by Damien Hirst and Frank Gehry.
