Sponsored: The new “Around the World” Friday brunch at the swish Deira hotel draws inspiration from Expo 2020.
We challenge you to find a more family-friendly hotel than Swissôtel Al Ghurair. The Deira address has gained quite the reputation for being one of the best places for a relaxing family stay in Dubai. Whether it be the children’s amenities in the guest rooms, the scavenger hunt in the lobby, personalised children’s check-in or the partnerships with Al Ghurair Mall and Laguna Water Park. The Swissôtel team really go above and beyond to ensure families enjoy a memorable stay at the property.
Taking things up a notch, the five-star hotel will launch its new “Around the World” brunch this Friday. Inspired by Dubai Expo 2020, the city’s latest brunch pays homage to the countries that our fair city will host during the six month World Expo, which begins in just over two weeks!
The international buffet will feature regional classics such as Herdsman’s macaroni from Switzerland, French ratatouille, Chinese Yang Chow fried rice, Japanese parfaits and Italian panna cotta. Meanwhile, thirsts will be quenched with specially crafted beverages, including Mighty Apple, Saffron in Purple Sea, Cherry Blossom, and Caramel White Russian.
Kids, who are affectionally referred to as “Little Explorers” at Swissôtel, can enjoy specially themed workshops during brunch. Activities are set to include “Little Picasso” painting, a “Little Chefs” cooking workshop, the “Little Gardner” workshop on the hotel’s private terrace, treasure hunts around the hotel, and Zumba classes with the hotel’s fitness instructor, Chester Lagado. There will also be a dedicated play area where children can let off some steam.
With vitality and healthy eating habits at the core of the brunch, the kids’ buffet offers nutritious meals to keep the energy levels high for adventurous little guests. At the same time, the spacious surrounds of Liwan Restaurant will surely impress thanks to a combination of friendly service and the family-centric concept.
The “Around the World” Friday brunch will visit 15 culinary destinations over the coming weeks while also commemorating special celebrations like Halloween (29 October), Diwali (5 November), International Children’s Day (19 November), Orthodox Christmas (7 January), Chinese New Year (28 January), Japanese National Day (11 February) and Italian Carnivale (4 March).
For a luxurious experience, families can make a weekend of it and opt for a staycation package including a one night stay in a spacious Family Room, complimentary breakfast and tickets to either Laguna Waterpark or The Green Planet for two adults and two children.
If there’s one hotel in Dubai going out of its way to ensure an enjoyable time for the entire family, then it’s Swissôtel Al Ghurair.
Keeping things strictly family-friendly, the “Around the World’ Friday Brunch is priced at a very reasonable AED 175 for adults and AED 88 for children (children under six years dine for free). Every Friday, from 12:30pm to 4pm.
