Experience the Last Supper in Pompeii 

Heston Blumenthal has created a unique interpretation of the Last Supper in Pompeii. Using the carbonised and organic remains of food unearthed by archaeologists Taste History, the menu is inspired by the rich food culture of this ancient town and how food played an integral part in daily life. The special menu at Dinner by Heston Blumenthal will give guests a taste of history, commemorating the ancient Roman town immortalised by the ash of Mount Vesuvius in AD 79. Dishes include authentic Pompeiian bread and a modern take on libum, a dessert based on baked fresh cheese curds. Available daily from 1 to 30 November, from 6pm to 11pm. AED 1,250 per person.

Get that festive feeling 

Al Habtoor City has welcomed back its jovial Winter Garden. Located in front of Habtoor Palace Dubai, the outdoor venue features a variety of street food kiosks, a plethora of dining experiences, live entertainment and fun activities for the little ones. Come December, the Christmas tree lighting ceremony will fill the Winter Garden with illuminations and plenty of festive cheer. Open daily until 31 January 2024, from 4pm to midnight. Be serenaded by Bryan Adams

Canadian singer-songwriter Bryan Adams will perform at Dubai’s Coca-Cola Arena as part of his highly anticipated So Happy It Hurts World Tour. His hits such as (Everything I Do) I Do It For You, Heaven, and Summer of ’69 have become timeless anthems, and having previously performed in Dubai at the Autism Rocks Arena in 2017, Adams’ return to the city promises to be a momentous occasion. Sip on a special afternoon tea

In an exceptional collaboration, Paul Occhipinti (a Meilleur Ouvrier de France award winner) and Christophe Devoille of Atlantis The Royal will present an afternoon tea experience at The Royal Teamroom. Guests can tempt their taste buds with a mushroom duxelle tart with black truffle or the lobster and prawn cocktail. Indulgent sweet treats, meanwhile, will include raspberry and centifolia rose petals from Grasse, a crunchy meringue lemon tart, tiramisu, coffee extraction, as well as lemon pound cake drizzled with olive oil. 4 and 5 November, from 2pm to 5pm. Prepare for a night under the stars

The FACT Award-winning Galaxy Bar is back with its new ‘Eyes on the Stars’ menu. Gather under the stars and select from twelve new cocktails that will illuminate the night. Among these creations, the Andromeda stands out – a highball Basil Smash infused with the unique essence of Butterfly Pea Tea. Elsewhere, the Cloud 9 emerges as a velvety and delicate rum-based concoction that remarkably retains its transparency. Galaxy Bar’s new mobile app lets guests immerse themselves in a 3D experience that reveals the menu by simply pointing their cameras at the star-filled ceiling.

Music fans, we have some big news. Controversial rapper 6ix9ine is coming to Dubai’s Coca-Cola Arena on 11 November – and he’s bringing friends. The event forms part of the Sundance DXB Vol. 4 – Hip-Hop Edition and will see the rapper, known for the hit tracks GummoFEFE and TROLLZ, take to the stage. Joining him on the night will be British-Ghanaian artist Kojo Funds and the American rappers and frequent collaborators Polo G and NLE Choppa.
