Prepare for an unforgettable pop culture weekend as the Middle East Film & Comic Con (MEFCC) returns to Abu Dhabi. With a star-studded lineup of celebrities, voice actors, and comic creators, the event takes place at the Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Centre (ADNEC) from 18 to 20 April. So, if you want to spot the stars, these are the celebrities gracing the event with their presence.
Andrew Garfield
Spider-Man himself is swinging into MEFCC 2025 in Abu Dhabi. Andrew Garfield, the British-American actor best known for donning the Spidey suit in The Amazing Spider-Man films, is ready to meet fans up close. With his portrayal of Peter Parker, he’s got praise from comic fans worldwide. At MEFCC, you can meet and greet with the man behind the mask and maybe even bag yourself a few Spidey-related surprises. He’ll be at the venue on 19 and 20 April.
Charlie Cox
Charlie Cox, the face of Marvel’s Daredevil, is making his way to MEFCC 2025. Hailing from London, he’s earned himself a name for his performance as Matt Murdock in the Daredevil series. Having become the definitive face of Hell’s Kitchen’s blind vigilante across seven Marvel Cinematic Universe projects, you can expect a charming encounter with the devil himself at MEFCC on 18 and 19 April.
Colleen O’Shaughnessey
Get ready to meet the voice behind Sonic, Colleen O’Shaughnessey. Hailing from the US, she’s worked on Sonic the Hedgehog movies as well as Naruto, Digimon, Danny Phantom, and many more. At MEFCC, you can hear lines from her and get your merch signed, on all three days of the event.
Daiki Yamashita
Daiki Yamashita, the voice of Deku in My Hero Academia, will be greeting fans in Abu Dhabi. He’s also voiced characters in JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure, Haikyuu!!, and Gundam Build Fighters, adding to his fan-favourite status. At MEFCC, he’ll be signing autographs and meeting fans from near and far, on 19 and 20 April.
Emily Rudd
One Piece star Emily Rudd makes her way to MEFCC 2025. Best known for her role as Nami in One Piece, Emily Rudd has quickly captured the hearts of anime and comic fans alike. At MEFCC, expect to click photos and interact with Emily on all three days of the event.
Grant Gustin
Speeding into MEFCC 2025 is Grant Gustin, or as you may know him, The Flash. Known for his portrayal of Barry Allen in The Flash, he brings heart, humour and heroism to the screen. This time around, he’s zooming in with the same in Abu Dhabi. Make sure you catch him on 19 and 20 April.
Hideo Ishikawa
Hideo Ishikawa, known for voicing characters like Itachi Uchiha in Naruto and Jushiro Ukitake in Bleach, is heading to MEFCC 2025. The legendary Japanese voice actor has been a big name in the anime world, and fans in Abu Dhabi will get a rare chance to meet him on all three days of the event.
Ian McDiarmid
Ian McDiarmid, the Scottish actor behind Emperor Palpatine from Star Wars, is set to make Abu Dhabi feel a little eerie with his MEFCC 2025 appearance. The actor has been a force in the Star Wars saga, and now, you will have the chance to meet the man on 19 and 20 April.
Kentaro Ito
Best known for voicing Renji Abarai in the anime Bleach, Kentaro Ito is making his way to Abu Dhabi. He voiced characters in Naruto, Gantz, and Saiyuki Reload, cementing his place in anime history. Now, expect epic stories from him at MEFCC 2025 on 19 and 20 April.

From the Upside Down to Abu Dhabi, Natalia Dyer will let you pick her brain. Known for playing Nancy Wheeler in Stranger Things, she’s become a fan favourite. Tetsuya Kakihara
Tetsuya Kakihara, known for voicing Natsu Dragneel in Fairy Tail, is heading to Abu Dhabi. His voice credits include Blue Exorcist, Genshin Impact, and A Certain Magical Index, making him a favourite across genres, and now fans can catch him on all three days of the event.
Vincent D’Onofrio
Vincent D’Onofrio, who plays the Kingpin in Daredevil and Hawkeye, is also making his way to Abu Dhabi. Known for his intense portrayal of one of Marvel’s most evil villains, he’s gearing up to tell you all about what goes on behind the scenes. Catch him on 18 and 19 April at Middle East Film & Comic Con.
