The new animal adventure opens on 18 April.

The UAE is home to amazing animals ranging from camels to falcons. Now, it can add some more wildlife to the list, as Dubai Crocodile Park is launching in time for Eid Al Fitr. Located in Mushrif, the park is scheduled to open on Tuesday, 18 April and will be home to one-of-a-kind crocodile experiences.

Dubai Crocodile Park is a family-friendly experience that allows visitors to admire the reptiles up close. The venue will be home to 250 Nile crocodiles of all ages – we’re talking baby hatchlings to fully grown adults. The crocodiles will live in a climate-controlled 20,000 square-meter facility, which aims to keep them happy and healthy.

Dubai Crocodile Park’s architecture and landscape draws inspiration from Africa. Inside, you’ll find a history museum, large outdoor areas and an African-themed aquarium. Expert guides are on hand and educational panels help visitors to learn about the reptiles. Plus, there are opportunities to view the animals up close and underwater.

Tarryn Clare, the exhibit curator of Dubai Crocodile Park, explained: “Welfare and education are at the heart of Dubai Crocodile Park. Since the crocs moved into our facility, we’ve had babies hatch, which is the ultimate proof of the animals thriving. We can’t wait to welcome the public to experience these amazing animals, and to educate them about the importance of their conservation and protection.”
