Adventure seekers are in for a wild ride.
If you love the great outdoors, then you’ve probably ventured to Hatta. But the mountain enclave recently upped its game and is now home to the Hatta Mountain Trails, the longest in the country.
Announced just in time for the cooler season, the Hatta Mountain Trails span 53km. These new trails offer 21 cycling routes and 17 walking trails that stretch across 33km. But that’s not all as there are also nine wooden bridges, 14 rest stops, and a range of service facilities designed to make your adventure even more enjoyable.
The Hatta Mountain Trails are divided into four colour-coded levels of difficulty. Green is designed for beginners and features four tracks each for cycling and walking. Blue takes it up a notch with six cycling and three walking paths with slightly higher difficulty. But things start to get serious in the Red trails which boasts eight cycling trails and six for walking. Lastly, the Black Trail is for all hiking pros. This one is intense, featuring three cycling and four walking trails.
While the trails feature different difficulty levels, the Hatta Mountain Trails offer a diverse terrain. You’ll traverse rocky paths, and rugged peaks, and stroll through scenic valleys, all while soaking in the views that Hatta has to offer. The trails are designed to showcase the natural beauty of the region. And with plenty of rest stops along the way, you can pause, refuel, and take in the panoramic vistas.
The Hatta Mountain Trails are built to meet international health and safety standards and there are plans to host various events. This development is part of a bigger plan to position Hatta as a must-visit tourist and adventure destination.
So dust off your hiking boots and prep the bikes because the trails are calling your name.
