The people of Dubai will come together again to help the people of Palestine.

Gather around good-hearted people of Dubai. If you’re looking for more ways to help the people of Palestine, we’ve got some news for you. Apart from the donation collections in full swing across the UAE, a group of chefs, restaurateurs, and creative minds known as Soul Collective DXB have initiated a heartwarming fundraising effort.

This campaign, in collaboration with the Emirates Red Crescent, is all about giving back and spreading love. Several events have been organised for November, the proceedings from which will once again be given to the people in Gaza.

Some of these gatherings include a curated listening session by Honeycomb Hi-Fi residents Tariq Omar, eLo, BCM, and Jayesh. Taking place on Monday, 6 November, from 7pm to 10pm. Next up is an evening of indulging in some soul food and that community spirit at Dubai’s famous homegrown concept, 21grams. Taking place on Wednesday, 8 November, this gathering kicks off at 6pm and is already sold out.

Last but definitely not the least, acclaimed chefs Bethany Kehdy, Faisal Naser, Greg Malouf, Patricia Roig, Rita Soueidan and Sara Aqel will come together to craft a late lunch. Kicking off at 3pm on Sunday, 12 November, this lunch will be hosted at BOCA in DIFC. The six-course dining experience will be one to look forward to and the entire ticket value will be donated to Tarahum for Gaza by Emirates Red Crescent.

And that’s not all. 71 Steak and Grill, Reif Othman’s Hoe Lee Kow and Zin will soon be announcing similar events too, so stay tuned.

Soul Collective DXB kicked off their Gather For Gaza event series on 30 October which brought together celebrated Dubai-based food brands, several talented Palestinian artists, and a gathering of 300 supporters, all uniting in solidarity with the people of Palestine. Hosted by Hattem Mattar, the event was a roaring success, raising over AED 125,000 — every single dirham of which was donated to the Emirates Red Crescent to support Gaza civilians.

So if you’re looking for a soul-nourishing experience while supporting a great cause, these are the places to be. And for all you foodies out there, you can expect a culinary journey that’s out of this world.
