Your week ahead, sorted.
As we venture into the middle of August, brunches and bold dining experiences return to Dubai in full force following the slow summer season. Read on for our picks of the week.
Monday 12 August
Reach for the stars
This week, the skies over the UAE are set to put on a spectacular show, and you won’t want to miss it. You’ll be able to catch a glimpse of the Da Vinci Glow and the Perseids Meteor Shower. The Da Vinci Glow is a celestial phenomenon. Occurring at sunset, you’ll not only spot a crescent moon, but the outline of the full moon will also be faintly visible. After catching the Da Vinci Glow, you can head to the Dubai desert for another spectacular show. The skies will darken as the moon’s glow dims, providing perfect meteor-watching weather until sunrise. The Perseid Meteor Shower will reach its peak intensity on 12 August.
