Enjoy a meat feast
The 9th Cut is an innovative new concept that blends a butchery and deli with a restaurant. Designed to appease your carnivorous cravings, the butchery features a wide range of meats, from tomahawk steaks to oxtail, brisket, dry-aged cuts, lamb, chicken, venison, and veal. The deli offers a curated array of premium meats and gourmet products, such as sandwiches, charcuterie, cheeses, marinades, olive oils, and spice rubs. The restaurant’s signature dishes include Cast-Iron Oxtail, Dry-Aged Venison Carpaccio, Iranian Koobideh, Smoked Lamb Shank Mandi, and Tamarind Lamb Ribs.

See K-pop sensation Suho
K-pop acts are descending on Dubai, and South Korean star Suho is set to perform at The Agenda in Dubai Media City on 20 September. Suho is the lead singer of the K-pop group EXO. In 2020, he released his solo EP, Self-Portrait, and its lead single was Let’s Love. In 2022, he released his second album, Grey Suit. He has also starred in film and TV shows, including How Are U Bread, One Way Trip, Rich Man and The Universe’s Star.

Dance the night away
Factory People has brought its free-spirited Reunion concept from the heart of industrial Beirut to a hip hangout on the side of the Dubai Canal. The new nightclub will offer alternative and versatile programming, hosting artists, DJs, producers, live concerts, and workshops in an intimate setting. Reunion prioritises exceptional acoustics to ensure that each beat, riff, and chord is delivered with exceptional clarity and depth. Local legend Wassim Bou Malham will curate the opening night’s musical lineup.

Hit the sand at Soul Beach Dubai
The new season at Soul Beach Dubai brings an exciting lineup of events where the music takes centre stage. The season starts with its first festival, OFF GRID, headlined by DJ Marc Kinchen, better known as MK. The celebrated American DJ, record producer, and remixer has amassed over one billion global streams, and his hit songs include “Back & Forth,” “Burning” and “One Night.” Soul Beach Dubai is a beach club with a difference, offering multiple lounge areas ranging from the impressive beach to the centre-stage infinity pool to individual beach-bar lounges with comfortable bean bag seating and a striking sunbed that’s a whopping 26 metres in length.

Dance until dawn at Terra Solis by Tomorrowland
Returning for a third season, Terra Solis by Tomorrowland will be headlined by Chris Avantgarde. For those unversed in the artist, he is a powerhouse in the electronic music scene and a familiar face at Tomorrowland. He is known for his electrifying tracks like “Inside,” “Mind Control” and “The Last Time.” Other names performing on the night include Agents of Time, Alok, Claptone, Indo Warehouse, Kevin De Vries, Lost Frequencies, Mahmut Orhan and Solardo.

Hit the sand at Buddha-Bar Beach Abu Dhabi and enjoy a memorable set from DJ Greg. Celebrated for his mastery of house music, the DJ has spent over a decade spinning at top international clubs. Watch Dubai Basketball’s historic debut
In a pivotal step towards advancing international basketball, Dubai Basketball Club has officially joined the prestigious ABA (Adriatic) League. This elite men’s professional league features top teams from Serbia, Croatia, Slovenia, Montenegro, North Macedonia, and Bosnia and Herzegovina. Watch Dubai Basketball’s historic debut this weekend as they take on reigning champion Crvena Zvezda (Red Star) at Coca-Cola Arena. Sunday 22 September at 5:30pm. Tickets from AED 75.

Spend a night at the opera
Visit Dubai Opera this weekend to watch the National Polish Opera bring to life Beethoven’s Ninth Symphony in celebration of the 200th Anniversary of its premiere. First performed in Vienna in 1824, it has since become one of the most performed symphonies worldwide. Its final movement, famously known as the “Ode to Joy,” features text adapted from Friedrich Schiller’s poem “An Die Freude” with additional contributions by Beethoven. This movement has come to symbolise unity and joy, resonating with audiences around the globe.

Visit The Jazz Club for mocktails and music
The Jazz Club has opened on Al Raha Beach in Abu Dhabi, bringing together live music, drinks and desserts. Look out for the neon sign, which says its name and includes a saxophone. The bar is plush and playful – instead of including lines of drinks, there are speakers and vinyl records on the shelves. The Jazz Bar serves mocktails and offers coffee-inspired drinks. Nasser Mohamed has worked closely with the bar. The Jazz Club is open from Tuesdays to Sundays from 4pm to 11pm.
