Prada Caffé opens a fashionable pop-up in London’s Harrods
The brand brings its signature style to the world-famous department store.
London’s Harrods is filled with famous fashion brands, covering shoes to suits. Now, it’s going one fashionable step further and opening a pop-up fashion café, Prada Caffé. So, if you’re in the UK capital, check out this stylish stop, which pays homage to the brand.
Prada Caffé is decked out in the brand’s signature style and brings a touch of Milan to London. The venue includes mint-coloured counters and walls, and a chic black and white tiled floor. The floor echoes the design of the first-ever Prada boutique, which opened in 1913 in Galleria Vittorio Emanuele II in Milan.
Settle into one of the velvet armchairs or sofas, and order from the menu, which covers apertivo, breakfast, lunch and dinner. The food is served on blue porcelain plates inspired by ancient Celadon pottery and made in Japan.
Prada Caffé’s breakfast includes Avocado Toast, Eggs Florentine, and Salmon and Eggs, and if you’re feeling fancy, you can add on Oscietra Caviar. Lunch includes Risotto, Spaghetti and Fish of the Day. Pastries include Hazelnut Cake, Pistachio Cake and Strawberry Cake.
Prada Caffé’s drinks span hot and cold coffees and teas, and hand-pressed fresh juice. The dedicated cocktail menu includes Espresso Martinis, Negronis and Spritzes. Plus, there are red and white wines, which span Piedmont to Sicily.
In the future, Prada Caffé will also serve ice cream and include an outdoor terrace. The pop-up is open from 9am to 9pm and runs until 7 January 2024.
Prada Caffé is not the only opening to get excited about because Dubai-born ramen restaurant, Kinoya is also opening inside the luxury department store.
