The East London bar is located in Nobu Hotel London Shoreditch.
Whether in Dubai, Doha or Jeddah, we love Nobu at FACT. So, we were excited to hear that Nobu Hotel London Shoreditch has launched a new bar. Located off of Great Eastern Street, Nobu Shoreditch Bar and Terrace is a sophisticated spot to enjoy the summer.
Nobu Shoreditch Bar and Terrace serves Nobu’s signature dishes and drinks. The menu ranges from small plates to sushi. The small bites include Dashi Fries, Salmon New Style Tacos and Wagyu Beef Sliders. The sushi rolls include Creamy Crab Roll, Lobster Tempura Caviar Roll and Shrimp Tempura Truffle Tonkatsu Roll.
The drinks menu includes beer, cocktails, mocktails, sake and wine. We were impressed by the extensive list of whiskey, which covers Irish, Scottish and Japanese varieties. The cocktails include Ashes to Ashes with Aperol, cinnamon, mezcal and whisky; Rosemary and Cacao Colada with cacao, pineapple, rosemary and rum; and Green Marine with coriander, cucumber, gin and nori.
Nobu Hotel London Shoreditch boasts a chic industrial aesthetic. The hotel features warehouse-inspired interiors, floor-to-ceiling windows and wallpaper designed by local artist Richard Harding. As for Nobu Shoreditch Bar and Terrace, it mixes East London and Tokyo vibes. Not only is there cool street art, but live events that cover art, music and culture.
The Nobu brand was created by chef Nobu Matsuhisa and actor Robert De Niro, and opened its first restaurant in New York in 1994. Nobu Dubai arrived back in 2008, and there are Nobu restaurants as well as Nobu hotels across the world.
The venue is open from Monday to Wednesday from 5pm to 10.30pm, Thursday and Friday from 5pm to 12.30am, Saturday from 11am to 12.30am, and Sunday from 11am to 10.30pm.
