Taste of London in Regent’s Park celebrates the city’s best restaurants
The festival brings together chefs, cuisines and cooking classes.
If you suffer from food FOMO, we have an answer. Taste of London brings together 36 restaurants in one place. Taking place from 14 to 18 June in Regent’s Park, the festival celebrates the capital’s food scene. So, get ready to eat your way around emerging and established brands.
Taste of London started in 2004, and is a staple in the city’s calendar. The event is expected to attract more than 55,000 visitors, who can sample everything from street food to MICHELIN Starred menus. Whatever cuisine you’re craving, we are confident that you will find it at the festival. The options include Afghan, American, Caribbean, Chinese, Indian, Italian, Korean, Spanish, South American and more.
Taste of London hosts special events including chef talks, masterclasses and workshops. The line-up includes Ben Tish, Fez Ozalgan, Judy Joo, Mehak Kansal, Thom Bateman and Tom Brown. Plus, there are artisanal markets with over 150 producers, and live entertainment ranging from a singalong piano bar to DJs.
Look out for Taste of London’s international events, too. The Taste of Saudi Culture gives visitors the chance to learn about (and taste) some of the 3,000 local ingredients, which are grown in the country. We’re talking hasawi rice in the east and Taif rose in the west.
Flames of Portugal Churrasco Cook School teaches you how to cook on an open fire. Visitors can sample dishes paired with wines, and learn about the country’s culinary culture from top chefs. Plus, there is a Craft Beer and Cider Trail, which lets you taste the drinks and ask the experts questions.
Taste of London tickets start from £24. Arrive hungry, leave full.
