Created by the Zedwell Hotel chain, Zedwell Underground Tottenham Court Road is a one-of-a-kind hotel in London. Whether you’re looking for a break from the sounds, sun or more often rain, the hotel aims to be a serene spot. Guests won’t see or hear the crowds on Oxford Street, as there are windowless rooms.

Zedwell Underground Tottenham Court Road offers zen-inspired experiences, which feel like a cross between a spa and student halls. The creators have spoken to psychologists and wellbeing experts to create a sleep-centric environment. The back-to-basic rooms prioritise sleep and wellbeing, and feature innovative soundproofing techniques. There are noise-reducing walls, floors and doors.

The rooms can sleep one to six people. The décor has a simple yet sleek design, and the focus is on the elevated Hypnos beds and Egyptian cotton sheets. Plus, there are no distracting TVs and radios, as it aims to stimulate a snooze.

Zedwell Underground Tottenham Court Road’s rooms feature gentle lighting, rainfall showers and natural oak. The minimalist colour scheme covers beige, creams and white. Instead of windows, there is a fresh purified air system. Plus, there are vacuum toilets that save up to 80 per cent of water per flush.
