Six new culinary concepts have been announced for Al Qana

The soon-to-open waterfront dining and entertainment destination in Abu Dhabi has announced six new F&B concepts to its rapidly expanding culinary portfolio.

Al Qana will be home to the largest standalone cinema in Abu Dhabi, the Middle East’s largest aquarium, a gaming hub for E-sports and VR experiences, and two kilometres of landscaped community spaces. As excitement builds around the opening, six new F&B concepts have been announced for the waterfront destination.

Grand Beirut

First up is Grand Beirut from MBT Restaurant Management, the team behind Mamsha Al Saadiyat’s Raclette and Beirut Sur Mer. The UAE’s second branch of the Grand Beirut follows (the other is located in Dubai’s Silicon Oasis) promises an experience that will transport diners into the heart of the Levant with an authentic culinary offering. “We have been waiting for the perfect location to bring forth our unique dining concept to Abu Dhabi. Al Qana’s commitment towards celebrating art, culture, and human experiences resonates with our vision. At Grand Beirut, we pay homage to the rich cultural traditions of the Levant. Moreover, our authentic, handcrafted menu focuses on enhancing the flavour of traditional Lebanese dishes instead of reinventing them,” said Niveen Ibrahim, Executive Director at MBT Restaurant Management.

Otoro

Named after the most desirable part of the tuna belly, Otoro will bring a modern Japanese dining experience to Abu Dhabi’s new waterfront destination. Hasan Almarar, Founder and Owner at Otoro, said, “We are delighted to begin our journey in Abu Dhabi. Al Qana’s spectacular breathtaking views and diverse collection of cuisines makes it the perfect spot to introduce our contemporary spin on the Modern Japanese concept. We are certain that our customers will enjoy the sizzling Japanese wagyu steaks, quirky but high-quality sushi and speciality rolls, the sharing-style menu, and dynamic ambience that Otoro has to offer.”

Mado

With six branches across Dubai and the Northern Emirates, Al Qana will welcome Abu Dhabi’s first branch of Turkish restaurant Mado. Mohamed AlMazrouei, Vice Chairman, at Mado said, “Mado’s new flagship location, set to elevate dining experiences in Abu Dhabi, will be spacious yet intimate, and will be one of the most intriguing gastronomic ventures and social gathering places when it opens. Known for our delicious Turkish cuisines, sweets and unique ice-cream concepts, from the famous Kahramanmaras ice cream to our one-of-a-kind goat’s milk cheese, jams and yoghurt, Mado is the quintessential blend of traditional flavours and modern tastes. Al Qana’s tranquil and re-energizing design creates the ideal environment for our guests to rest, rejuvenate, refresh and relish in our distinct recipes.”

Oii

Al Qana will also be home to a Mediterranean fine dining concept known as Oii. Ayesha Al Mansoori, founder and CEO, at Oii said, “We are super excited for the opportunity to launch Oii restaurant and Cafe in the heart of Abu Dhabi. Al Qana’s unique blend of modernity and tradition makes it the ideal fit to introduce our Mediterranean fine dining concept, which adds a signature contemporary twist to traditional recipes passed down from generations. We are convinced that our customers will have an unforgettable experience tasting our tantalizing dishes, served with love in a cosy and lively ambient setting. At Oii, we put our heart and soul into serving joy to our customers.

Pinky Fish

Another concept from MBT Management is Pinky Fish. A restaurant for seafood connoisseurs, Pink Fish, will feature an exquisite menu prepared from the day’s freshest catch alongside interactive tableside experiences.

Wing It

Little is currently known about Wing It, but we are guessing chicken wings will form the crux of the menu at the aptly named spot. The menu is also expected to feature kebabs, wraps and fries.

The six new concepts all exemplify Al Qana’s commitment to establishing a world-class lifestyle destination, allowing visitors of all ages the opportunity to immerse themselves within an array of exquisite cuisines and inspirational experiences.
