Palazzo Versace Dubai’s Vanitas has introduced an inventive new menu from newly appointed Sicilian Chef de Cuisine Gianfranco Pirrone that provides traditional dishes with a contemporary twist. The new dishes include black truffle pizza and grilled octopus and linguine pasta with sea urchin and mullet bottarga. Pasta lovers should also try the Tagliolini al Parmigiano, Uovo e Tartufo – a creation of homemade spinach taglioni, parmigiano cream, pasteurized egg, and freshly shaved truffle. Available daily from 12:30pm to 3pm and 7pm to 11pm.

Tuck into the new summer menu at Asil, Rixos Premium Dubai JBR

The epitome of blending flavours from the finest cuisines lies at the heart of Asil, a restaurant where guests can luxuriate in the lavish décor and Arabesque ambience of the dining room, which provide the backdrop to a regal menu that now includes new dishes. The two new tagines take their name from the clay pots in which they are slowly cooked until aroma and flavour meld into an unforgettable dining experience and are available in fish or lamb kofta variations. The Manti are small parcels of meat baked in a wafer-thin dough and served with tomato concasse. Le Sireunse by Scalini at Restaurant Village, Four Seasons Resort Jumeirah

Scalini Dubai launches a menu of seasonal specials inspired by the myths of a small archipelago of islands on the Amalfi Coast. Curated by Chef Giuseppe Giampietro, guests can indulge in Fresh Burrata, served on a bed of Pink Paradise tomatoes, followed by the Fritto Misto, fried breaded calamari, octopus, shrimp and zucchini chips. With a selection of seafood reminiscent of summers by the Italian shore, Scalini serves Tartare Di Tonno, diced bluefin tuna on a bed of chopped avocado; as well as Oysters of the Day, and a beautiful Carpaccio di Gamberoni, a carpaccio of prawns, avocado and extra virgin olive oil. The coastal theme weaves through the main courses, with a Paccheri Seafood Special, sautéed clams, mussels, calamari, and prawns in a light cherry tomato sauce topped with bottarga. The Scalini Catch of the Day can be prepared specifically for each table, with a choice of grilled, salt-baked or Guazzetto. Ending each meal on a sweet note, Scalini serves an exquisite selection of desserts, including whipped Pistachio Gelato, Bombolini filled with a chocolate, hazelnut crème, as well as a classic Tiramisu and Crème Brulee. Guy Manoukian & Friends at The Theater, Fairmont Dubai

Every Wednesday, Guy Manoukian, the Lebanese-Armenian musician, composer, pianist and Artistic Director of The Theater, will take the stage alongside international artists passing through Dubai. These global friends will join Guy on stage and take guests on a musical journey. The first edition of Guy Manoukian & Friends will include the legendary Mario Reyes from the Gipsy Kings Family. The Bella Friday Brunch promises to tick every box, from delicious Italian food and a beautiful setting to top-notch entertainment and beverages.
